Day 3- 5 of The Greeting Farm Challenge.

Good Afternoon fellow crafters. Today I shall be listing days 3-5 of the challege over at TGF.
It's too much to do this everyday so please bear with me.

Ill start with day 3 even thou we're now on day 6. Todays sketch is from Mercy Kerin.

And my take features an Altered MY GUY IAN from TGF's collection.

I swapped his head with the other guy in the set, as he had a hat on originally. I added headphones and can u see his MP3 in his pocket?

Just a little touch to make him irresistable to teenage boys. I tried to make this card a little grungy feeling..  I used Charcoal Cats Eye CHALK INK to age the edges. And I used Promarkers to colour him in. ( I live in the UK.We have a U in colour.LOL)

 Special Guy Ian
Hair - China Blue, Shale and Walnut.
Skin - Ivory and Vanilla.
Hoodie - Cool Grey 2.
Jeans - Denim Blue.
Trainers - Berry Red and criscrossed with Black Fineliner 0.5.

I hope you enjoy him as much as I did making him.

On the 4th Day of Sketches TGF Gave to Me...

A cute sketch from Mercy again.

Thank You Mercy!
This time we wern't allowed to use any Dies, Nestabilities, punches etc. Everything had to be straight lines!!!

Once again I used My Guy Ian but this time he is a Digi Stamp and he has a friend - Autumn Anya. You can find them both Here.... Download them and then you can make them as big or small as you need.

Here is Autumn Anya and Ian. Best Friends Forever!

I used papers from Basic Grey and Bazzill cardstock.
A Cuttlebug embossing folder - Dots. I use these with My Sizzix Bigshot. Fantastic!

Again thanks go to Mercy....

I made two cards for this chal'. I really do love it.

It just WORKS!

This is another stamp from TGF.  AS it IS a TGF chal'.LOL
She is from the Hope & Grace range. This stamp is called Snuggle.

I liked her nightie but I fancied seeing her in Pyjamas, so I had a little play and "Voila!"
I bought these papers(PAPERMANIA) ages ago as 6x6 but as I was mainly scrapping (12x12) I hadn;t used them AT ALL! It's nice to see them out in the open.

Promarkers used were....

I used lovely Imaginsce papers from the FairyTale range, Bazzill cardstock. And the same sketch as b4.

See what I mean...This sketch is GR8!
It is clean, simple but allows you to add detail and depth.
Fab!
I actually made this to give to a friend. My daughter wasn't too pleased. She wants one too...
So do I. But I never make for myself. Actually thats not 100% true. I Never Ever give my scrap pages away.

Ok I'm off now. Ill have to give you sketch 6 next time. You can also find it for yourself via the Greeting Farm site. Don't spend too much!LOL.

Day 2 of the 12 Day challenge.

Thats another weekend flown past.Busy, busy, busy.Well here is the sketch for day 2. I like this sketch, I just struggled to find the right paper. I think I got it right in the end.

My inspiration this time is Doctor WHO....

My son is a avid fan so finding a stamp I could use on a card for him was FAB!It was TGF's EDWARD Digistamp.

I altered him and added the Doctor's trademark raincoat. I love it! I'm so pleased at how it turned out. Brag, Brag, Brag!!! Arn't I modest? Actually I am but I also believe in recognising when you have done something well.We spend too much time beating ourselves up for our mistakes.OK! Back to the subject at hand......The Doctor.
The 10th Doctor, Mr Yummy Yummy, David Tennant. Even my son knows I have a cruch on him......LOL.

David Tennant = Every womans dream!

The Doctor in his trademark suit and Raincoat.

Ok So David aka The Doctor is my muse....
I made it into an Easel style card as I like the way they stand up. Something that will shatnd ona shelf is always a good thing in a Boy's bedroom. It lowers the chances of it being swept into the Black Hole of........
 MESS!

The PP are Archaic range from Basic Grey.
Cardstock is Bazzill.
Pens are Promarkers.

The Doctor
Hair - Shale and Walnut.
Face - Ivory and Vanilla.
Suit - China Blue.
Shoes - Berry Red.
Coat - Terracotta.
Tie - (Whispers Strokes in Purple).
Shirt and Shoe Soles (White Sakura Gel Pen).

This was the sketch used.
12 Days of Sketches ~ Day 2.

The Greeting Farms "12 Days" Challenge.

Good Afternoon. It's 5.07pm in Paignton, England right now. I probably should be cooking tea for the children but here I am talking to u!

AS you may know I'm recently a fan of TGF(The Greeting Farm). They are holding a 12 day set of challenges running up to the new year.Cool prizes available. What a boon!

So here is the fist sketch and my take on it.....

I didnt want a typical love red heart so I wrote the word Choc on it and coloured it a chocolatey colour.Well it was until it went against the Dark Choc cardstock, Thats all I had left, Typical isn't is?!
I think if I was to do this card again I would use a PP over the card itself.Get me?
It's a little too simple really.

I used Letraset Promarker pens to colour as they are what I can get locally. I like them!

Girl
Hair - Pastel Yellow and Lemon.
Face - Ivory and Vanilla.
Dress,Eyeshadow,Bow and Shoes - Blossom.

Boy

Face - Ivory and Vanilla.
Coat - Denim Blue.
Vest and Trousers - Cool Grey 2.
Shoes - Black

Please leave me a comment as I would love to know what you think.

My introduction to The Greeting Farm.

I have 2 boys and I find it really hard finding "Boy" stuff for my stash, both for cardmakin' and scrappin' . I was thrilled to bits when I was googling and stumbled across "My Guy Ian" from TGF. He retails at aprox £10 here in the UK. Is'nt he adorable.

I'm hooking. In fact my passion at the mo is The Greeting Farm Blog and Spendid Stamping with The Greeting Farm Blog. Not on does TGF make stamps but they are extending their already lovely range of Digi Stamps.

So! With this new passion it seems that I can make decent, even good cards after all. Please feel free to comment on any of my cards. I would love to hear what you think.

Here is my first card using "My Guy Ian".
For my son Thomas. I love U my Boy!XoX
PS. Also my 1st Easel Card.
